We had the most wonderful stay at Ashburton Court early September. One of the best things was Amy & Biff's hospitality and warmth. Amy is a chef and made the most incredible breakfasts, including a daily special. We as a family STILL talk about Amy's breakfasts! The building itself is located conveniently close to the heart of Ashburton, a 2-5 min walk to shops, cafes, and restaurants. The rooms were very comfortable and well set up, quiet and clean. The building is beautiful with a wonderful garden and breakfast room with more cozy areas to sit and relax. We loved our stay!
Just spent a lovely weekend at Ashburton Court. Very welcoming and relaxed place to stay. Comfortable room, excellent breakfast options including for my coeliac daughter, and no worries about powerful showers even on top floor of this elegant Georgian home. Very convenient for Ashburton Cookery School where we enjoyed great two day fish course. Amy and Biff happy for us to refrigerate and reheat all we prepped. Village boasts some great spots to eat and drink too. We intend to return!
Biff and Amy have 30 years experience working on yachts and in the hospitality business..and it shows. It feels like they have run AC for years not months. Welcoming and friendly vibe, lovely rooms. Very clean and cosy. Brilliantly situated and close to the cooking school, unique shops and walks...... Yummy breakfast menu. We will be back xxx
What a lovely spot > Amy and Biff are great hosts (and Amy is an amazing chef, so breakfasts are a highlight!) The rooms were clean, comfortable and have everything you need for a great stay. If you like running/hiking its a great area to stay in. Nice restaurants and shops close by. I'll definitely be returning one day.
We had a lovely stay for two nights while meeting family in Ashburton. The location is brilliant for a very short walk into the middle of town, the hosts were extremely friendly and considerate, and the room was clean and comfortable.
Our stay here couldn’t have been any better- a convenient location, the best hosts, spotless, comfortable and quiet rooms, deliciously cooked and fresh local fare for breakfast, and a perfect spot for exploring Ashburton and Dartmoor!! Wonderful stay. Will definately book here again when I'm down this way. The house is a georgeous Georgian town house, with big bedroom and modern bathroom with plenty of hot water. The breakfasts were very tasty and the hosts were very friendly.
Really friendly hosts, tasty breakfast, in a lovely characterful building with comfortable rooms. Well located just 1-2 minutes walk from cafes, pubs and local shops. Also new Ionity rapid EV chargers about a 2 min drive away by the new Co-op. A great location to explore Dartmoor and nearby towns.
